Ultraharmonic and subharmonic resonance in an oscillator

Different order subharmonic and ultraharmonic resonance curves for as oscillator with a cubic non-linearity are obtained theoretically by van der Pol´s method. Their distinctive features are discussed. Experimental results obtained with the help of an electronic differential analyser are compared with the theoretical curves.
