Symmetrical transistors

Significant differences in performance between symmetrical and unsymmetrical alloy junction transistors are revealed by an examination of their properties on a theoretical basis. Brief descriptions are given of some circuits for telecommunication purposes in which the use of symmetrical transistors offers significant improvements over the use of more conventional unsymmetrical transistors.
