A direct current integrator with digital output

This paper outlines a number of ways of integrating with respect to time a 0 to 10 mA d.c. signal, which may be derived from an industrial measurement or control system. A new solid-state electronic integrator with superior stability and linearity is described in detail. A typical application is the measurement of total quantity of a liquid which has passed through a magnetic flowmeter.
