Abstract
Demand of highly efficient and effective web based applications is always in limelight when there is interaction between client and server. Web based applications are at ease of use, i.e. these can be implemented without any hindrances although these applications need high maintenance for every single communication. This paper provides review on papers regarding web based application`s maintainability. This paper makes a framework on web based maintainability history to show that these applications have to be constantly inspected for proper functionality. It reviews several journals and thesis based on web application´s maintainability, in which various techniques and models has introduced for evaluating maintainability. This review provides the benefit in future for research on comparison analysis.
