Abstract :
This application of feature-based visual servoing was designed to achieve accurate and robust three-dimensional filament alignment sufficient to meet the exacting photometric specifications imposed by the US Federal Aviation Authority on certain lighting applications. The industrial setting dictated a simple and intuitive uncoupled control approach which minimizes the use of embedded kinematic or dynamic models or the need for calibration
