Abstract :
Synchronous frequency-hopped spread-spectrum systems using Einarsson´s optimum addressing scheme areconsidered and an exact expression is derived for the word-error probability. The new expression for the error-probability is shown to be approximately an order of magnitude tighter than the upper bound results of Einarsson. Also, a relationship is derived between the average transmitter power, the number of allowed frequency channels and the number of users on the system.
