Abstract :
An interface system for particle-in-cell plasma simulation codes is described. The interface system utilizes contemporary computing techniques from object-oriented and symbolic programming and offers a number of advantages over traditional methods of interfacing with scientific and engineering computations. A specific application is made to MAGIC, a well documented two-dimensional finite-difference PIC simulation code
