  • Abstract
    A relatively efficient power-scalable mid-IR (2.7 μm) Er3+ :ZBLAN fibre laser pumped by readily available 980 nm laser diodes is reported. The ~12 mW CW power levels reported are significantly higher than those reported previously for any diode-pumped CW mid-IR fibre laser
