  • Abstract
    In this paper, a decode-and-forward (DF) opportunistic relaying is investigated in a multicell environment with intercell interference. The outage-optimal relay selection is investigated, and the closed-form expressions of the exact and the approximate outage probabilities are derived for the DF opportunistic relaying in a multicell environment over Rayleigh fading channels. Numerical results verify the validity of the theoretical analysis by comparison with Monte Carlo simulation.
