  • Abstract
    Closed form expressions for the probability of outage, the level crossing rate and average fade duration of L-branch selection combiner in generalised Rayleigh (GR) distribution are presented for independent and identically distributed (i.i.d.) channels. Further the average bit error probability for M-ary phase shift keying modulation scheme also derived. These results are compared with Rayleigh distribution in each case.
