Abstract :
In 2011, the IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters (AWPL) continued to be a very successful publication. With 1623 submissions, and a median time from submission to posting on IEEE Xplore of approximately nine weeks, AWPL continues the trend of the past few years. The goal of the Editorial Board is to ensure that AWPL is a very highquality publication, characterized by rapid turnaround time and rigorous peer review. Statistics are presented for: The time from submission to decision for papers received in 2011, Average days from submission to decision as a function of the manuscript decision, and Number of papers that received the recommendations "Accept," "Minor Revisions," "Reject and Resubmit," and "Reject" in 2011.
