Abstract :
There is an abundance of Internet resources that focus on teamwork complexities in relation to business and management practices. Websites feature articles and share views about team leadership, training options, corporate cultural influences, communication pathways, interdisciplinary cooperation, and human behavioral impacts. Many resources contrast the pros and cons of virtual teams and offer suggestions for addressing challenges posed when team members are not able to work face to face, because they are geographically or even geopolitically dispersed. The following venues are offered as examples of the types of information resources that can help fuel team building, energize collaboration efforts, and propel performance towards successful outcomes.
