Abstract :
A simulation and testing laboratory for electric power quality studies is described in this paper. The functions of the laboratory as a medium of instruction and as a research environment are presented. Examples of utilizing the laboratory for this dual purpose are given. Software and hardware tools that are integrated into this laboratory environment are discussed and their utilization in the context of power quality related studies are shown
