Abstract
Prompt (n,γ)-spectrometry is an on-line measurement technique for the determination of characteristics of nuclei (atomic masses, cross sections, level schemes, etc.) and the nondestructive investigation of the isotopic composition (and, thus, of the element composition) of any sample. This method is used at the PTB for the determination of the isotopic composition of the silicon spheres within the scope of the Avogadro project
