Abstract :
The application of the carrier-storage frequency divider as a parametron-type logical element is described. An analysis of the smallsignal phase locking process is presented and a number of basic logical circuits, which have been tested experimentally, are given. The primary limitation to the speed of operation of the device as a logical element is seen to be the drive frequency.
