Abstract :
A compact multi-choked horn design with very broad circular polarised sectoral radiation pattern is presented. The design is carried out using very accurate analysis software based on mode matching and integral equation formulation with the aid of a genetic optimiser. A detailed description of the optimisation procedure is presented together with the predicted far field pattern. Several applications of the design are proposed
