Abstract :
The matched filter bound (MFB) is derived for doubly dispersive Gaussian WSSUS channels. By means of the Karhunen-Loeve expansion both monotonically increasing and monotonically decreasing sequences of error probabilities converging towards the MFB are presented in closed form as a function of the pulse shapes and the scattering function
