Abstract :
The influence of contamination of the iodine cell by the heteromolecule is discussed. The results of the numerical model are compared with measured values for both the third (THT) and fifth (FHT) harmonic method of detection. Contamination causes a substantially lower frequency shift in the case of the FHT
