  • Abstract
    Autonomous aerial formations of multiple mini quadrotors require an external localization system. Embedded on-board processing allows for swarm applications in novel environments. Also, application in payload manipulation, surveillance and search-and-rescue can be achieved through this research. A method is discussed to establish and maintain aerial formations of miniature quadrotors using an on-board embedded infrared vision system for image processing and localization.
