Abstract :
Cloud Computing Technology is a Computing paradigm in which computer systems are consolidated and managed by a separate entity. These computer systems are then accessed by users via a network such as the Internet. Cloud computing is being employed on a global scale due to the benefits of saving on I.T.-related costs compared to traditional computing methods. Furthermore, cloud computing can give businesses a competitive advantage. Cloud computing´s rate of adoption, however, is slowed, due to security concerns and the consumers´ desire for unrestricted access to their systems. We wish to promote the use of the Cloud in order to facilitate energy savings and job creation opportunities. To meet Cloud Computing objectives whilst taking Cloud consumers´ fears into consideration, we propose the promulgation of a transitionary state to the public Cloud whereby we employ the use of private clouds which share similar standards to Cloud providers and the tight integration of a Cloud Auditing firm.
