Abstract
The use of a dual series resonant converter with phase-shifted operation as a utility interface is presented. The inverter operates at a fixed frequency above the resonant frequency to reduce the switching losses in the devices. A simplified analysis of the converter operation is given, and a design example is worked out based on this analysis. A general-purpose power electronic converter simulation program has been used to predict the performance of the converter, and experimental results are given confirming the validity of the simulation results
