Abstract :
Throughout the summer of 2009, Microsoft opened its campus offices around the world to bright and eager high school girls during the company´s annual DigiGirlz High Tech Camps. For several days, girls were introduced to the latest innovations in the world of technology. DigiGirlz High Tech Camps´ purpose is to dispel myths of what it means to have a career in the high-tech industry and give girls a chance to experience firsthand what it is like to develop cutting-edge technology.
