  • Abstract
With respect to the problems in multidisciplinary collaborative modeling as well as sharing and reutilization of model information, this paper takes a high-speed railway as an example and designs a mechanism of lifecycle management and visualization services for the high-speed railway scene modeling. Oracle database is used in the management mechanism for the storage, query, and sharing of the 3D models, which facilitates visualization services for the modeling of the ground objects in the 3D scene. Processed terrain models and remotely-sensed images are then superposed to produce the final 3D scene. The research findings can be used to manage 3D models efficiently, thus providing visualization services for the modeling of 3D scene.
