Abstract :
Block implementation of the forward-backward line enhancer (FBLE) is formulated. Unlike its time domain version which has twice the complexity of the conventional forward-only line enhancer (FOLE), the frequency domain realisation of the FBLE is found to be only 1.4 times more complex than the frequency domain FOLE.
