Abstract :
A novel device is described, formed by taking one of the outputs of a 3×3 fused optical coupler back to one of the inputs to form a fibre optic ring resonator with two inputs and two outputs. The device can be used for narrowband wavelength division multiplexing and for switching of optical signals
