Abstract :
Fingerprinting is important for automated personal authentication. Rolled fingerprints can provide much more information for recognition than plain-touch fingerprint captured by a live-scanner. An effective algorithm of real-time rolled fingerprint construction via a live-scanner is proposed, which behaved better than both inked fingerprint acquisition and other construction algorithms
