I am sure you realize that our colleges and universities are doing their best to give the undergraduate student the most comprehensive basic training possible within the traditional 4-year aca demie period This is with the hope that the graduate may enter his chosen profession sufficiently well equipped to accept employment of a technical nature or to proceed successfully with a graduate study program. After graduation, one usually finds his early assignments to be associated with some kind of on-the-job training of a formal nature, or otherwise. In any case, he launches upon his professional career and his employer rightfully expects him to make progress.
