Abstract :
Computation-based phase measurement is a relatively new intermodulation measurement method. It differs from other major methods in that no external phase reference signal is needed. This paper studies modulation phase measurement procedures from the viewpoint of the information envelope domain. This leads to further development of the time-zero cancelation technique and simplification of the computation-based phase measurement. Noncoherent calibrated two-tone phase measurement procedures are shown to be feasible as one validation of the proposed ideology.
