Abstract :
In this work we specify and develop a framework for the profiling of the students´ performance in engineering courses. This framework allows us to quantitatively evaluate and measure the status and the progress of the students in the thematic area of multimedia communications. The framework is designed as an extension on existing engineering simulations tools, widely used in tertiary education.
