Abstract :
For original paper see M.E. Zaghloul and D.J. Rhee, ibid., vol.36, no.9, p.2005-10 (Sept. 1989). The commenter disagrees with the computer model of a photomultiplier tube presented by Zaghloul and Rhee because it is unlikely to be realistic for the operating condition simulated. Several previously published papers which address techniques for minimizing photomultiplier nonlinearity are cited.<>
