Abstract
In order to maintain cash flow companies use financial assessments of various ideas and projects. One of the most widely used techniques for comparing the financial benefits of long term projects is net present value (NPV) analysis. In this paper the author discusses the net present value analysis and expound on the terms "net cash flow" and "present value of money".
