Abstract :
Some time ago I wondered how, on the one hand, the concept nano was present at the forefront of the paradigm for many scientific areas, from basic to applied and industrial research, feeding numerous and vigorous activities such as conferences, lectures, thematic groups, committees, journals, and magazines. On the other hand, nano was not yet in the spotlight of our Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S), traditionally careful to assess and capture what is emerging and promising in related technologies.
