Abstract
In summary, it is interesting to note that apparently, cell-phone use was associated with faster but less accurate response in cognitive function tasks. With the exception of the complex word naming tasks, results were similar for children reporting more cellphone calls or greater total number of SMS or text messages per week, suggesting that these cognitive changes were not due to microwave exposure, if confirmed by subsequent experiments. Instead, the behavior may have resulted from more frequent use of cell phones and acquired cognitive skills.
