Sister and related societies: extending comsoc´s global family [the president´s page]

A common theme of previous columns is that the Communications Society (ComSoc) is a global society that offers value to both members and non-members around the world. However, there are also numerous national societies that provide similar services to their members through publishing journals and magazines, sponsoring workshops and conferences, offering educational products and services, which foster strong, local, national or regional communities of engineers, scientists and practitioners with a common interest in the communications and networking field.
