Abstract :
The authors consider the basic problem, in the study of NEMP effects and NEMP protection measures, of determining the shielding effectiveness of multilayer structures. They consider the electromagnetic interaction (reflection and transmission) of a plane incident electromagnetic wave with a plane multilayer. The mathematical analysis is carried out using frequency domain considerations and is based on a Cartesian frame.
