Abstract :
Regeneration is a technique used to improve thermal efficiency of gas turbine cycle, it consist on using the exhaust gas of the turbine to preheat compressed air before entering the combustion chamber, so a thermodynamic and energy study for the cycle is established. Then a calculation code is developed using EES software in the purpose to analyze the influence of operating and geometry variables on performances of cycle.
