Abstract :
This paper presents a model of a variable speed wind turbine using a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) and proposes the control schemes. The model contains an aerodynamic part of the wind turbine, a mecanic part and an electric part. To validate the model and the proposed control schemes, simulations have been conducted with Matlab/Simulink.
