  • Abstract
On account of the broader use of Hybrid Renewable Energy systems (HRES), latest researches are interested in solving their optimization problem. These systems have obvious advantages. However, they also present important drawbacks such as the discontinuity of the generation. Therefore, their use requires a suitable sizing and a control optimization study. In this paper, we made a research on an economic evaluation of the HRES for a typical home in the Oujda region (North-East of Morocco). An overall energy management strategy, with the help of the genetic algorithm (GA), is designed for the proposed suggested system. As a result of this we will be able to manage the energy flow of the various renewable sources and the storage unit, and minimize the annual cost of the system, so as to meet the load requirement in a reliable manner, while taking into consideration environmental factors.
