Abstract :
A tunnel dryer using different sources of energy (solar, gas, electric) has been conceived to dry wet agricultural products. First object we will enjoy the use of solar energy provided by solar air panels for drying a wet agricultural product, then the adding of an auxiliary heating system allows the use of the dryer in unfavorable weather conditions. In this paper we have made a comparative study of two scenarios of drying: solar drying and hybrid drying with the characterization of the dried product that are tomatoes.
