Abstract :
All power systems, however well regulated and designed, do experience a deficiency of generation, resulting in operation at a reduced frequency. In this letter, we provide power flow and transient stability simulation results of our investigations on a five-bus 50 Hz sample power system when it is operating at a reduced frequency of 48.5 Hz
