  • Abstract
    Besides timing recovery and automatic gain control, data receivers often perform adaptive slope or bandwidth control. This note presents a set of maximum run-length constraints that facilitates the joint accomplishment of these three tasks. Simple polarity-bit codes that introduce these constraints are described.
