Abstract
With the recent deployment of wireless digital TV systems around the world, wire antennas are once again in widespread use. This article introduces the software GRADMAX for Web, a Java applet for analyzing and optimizing arrays of wire antennas. The analysis algorithm is based on the point-matching technique of the Method of Moments (MININEC engine), and the optimization layer employs the modified gradient method. GRADMAX for Web is designed for the Internet, and runs directly from the Web browser on all common operating systems (Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Solaris, etc.).
