  • Abstract
    The authors present a new method for biasing AC-coupled cascode amplifiers. The proposed design allows the correct DC biasing with a single reference signal as well as a single power supply. A start-up circuit is added for correctly biasing the cascode amplifier at power on. SPICE simulations based on a 0.8 μm CMOS technology are included
