Abstract :
An information criterion is introduced for extracting the minor component associated with the covariance matrix of an input process. An adaptive stepsize learning algorithm (ASMCEX) is proposed. The analysis shows that the ASMCEX algorithm has an equilibrium point. The simulations show that the ASMCEX algorithm can improve the convergence speed significantly
