Abstract :
A Fabry-Perot optical discriminator is used to reduce the pattern dependence of a semiconductor optical amplifier wavelength converter at 10 Gbit/s. In conjunction with a voltage tunable microelectromechanical bandpass filter, this allows a reduction of conversion penalty for multiple wavelength channels
