Abstract :
A novel class of nonlinear filters, called rank conditioned fuzzy selection (RCFS) filters, is proposed to improve the filtering capability of rank conditioned rank selection filters. In contrast to the selection filters, the output of RCFS filters is obtained from the center gravity of a selected fuzzy set of the observation samples
