Blossoming into Engineering

Ramalatha Marimuthu had already interviewed for admission to medical school when she told her father she didn´t want to be a doctor, and so began what she calls the “war at home.” This was back in the 1980s in Rajapalayam, a rural community at the southernmost tip of India, where she grew up in a compound family close to her grandparents and cousins.
