Abstract :
A number of different digital signal-processing algorithms for electric power system data acquisition, control and protection were previously introduced. Each of the algorithms was defined based on the specific application, utilizing either some heuristic approaches or known systems identification and parameter-estimation techniques. A generalized methodology for algorithm synthesis which may be used in a number of different applications is proposed, based on the bilinear form approach
