Abstract :
Critical-current densities of superconducting oxides are theoretically estimated for single-crystalline thin films and polycrystalline bulk materials with oriented and random textures. The percolation theory is used, and the effect of depression of the transport current through grain boundaries is taken into account. The results are compared in detail to previously published experimental results
