Abstract :
An instrument has been developed which will automatically convert frequency into shaft position, with an accuracy of ±0.1% over a temperature range of -55 C to +55 C. Methods are shown for compensating for the imperfections of diodes as switches, thereby achieving a high degree of linearity and stability.
